Polarbear paradise. This archipelo, also known as Svalbard, consists of three major islands, merely covered with glaciers. The polarbear population outnumbers the human population.
In summer 2006, two other girls and I were dropped on the Borabukta peninsula. We made camp on the beach, secured it with the typical anti polar bear stuff and had some beautiful hikes in the area.
Project North Pole records my travels along the arctic circle. The ultimate goal of this project will be the north pole itself, but this can wait. There is lots of land to see in the process of getting there and even global warming cannot beat me in this attempt.
